Bookings for two or more rooms account for an average of 9% of reservations, representing 18% of revenue. That’s why having a solid multi-room, multi-meal plan, and multi-cancellation policy booking process is key to capturing these valuable bookings, especially since OTAs also struggle with them.

We have designed a multi-room process that handles this complexity smoothly:

  • Allowing changes or edits to previously made choices.

Recovery when there’s no availability

In 15% of searches, your customers see a “not available to book” message due to inventory shortages or restrictions like minimum stays. That 15% is just an average. Find your exact number by search date in the “lost demand” section of our BI. As a hotelier, your goal should be to rescue as much of that demand as possible and not simply let it go to another hotel.

The new engine includes up to six levers that help increase your total direct sales by 0.6%, a figure that might seem small until you do the math for your case. You’ll see it adds up to a lot. And it’s better for you to keep that 0.6% than let another hotel take it, right?

  • Display all available dates in a calendar along with the real price per day, allowing the customer to easily change dates.
  • Show three nearby date alternatives based on the customer’s original query, always maintaining the same number of nights, and one of which will fall on the same weekdays in another week.
  • Offer a waitlist where we notify the customer via email once availability returns (due to a cancellation or inventory refresh).
  • Show the hotel’s phone and email in case the customer wants to reach out directly.
  • Redirect your customer to other hotels in your group that do have availability, showing their prices and distance.

Smart filters

Give your customer the option to filter results and simplify their decision-making. The new card-based interface and result grouping make comparisons much easier, meaning very few users need filters (less than 0.6%), but those who do love the functionality and show up to 79% higher conversion rates than users who don’t use them.
